Alloy Saw Blade FAQ

Apr 11, 2022 Leave a message

(1) Abnormal noise occurs when cutting

1. The alloy saw blade is overused, the temperature is too high, and the saw blade is deformed due to external force, which should be corrected.

2. Equipment spindle clearance, runout and yaw.

3. There are cracks on the saw blade, foreign objects are attached, and objects other than the cutting material are touched when cutting.

4. It is recommended to purchase an alloy saw blade with a muffler wire to reduce noise.

(2) There are burrs or unevenness on the surface of the cutting workpiece

1. Check the inclination of the saw blade, the unevenness of the saw blade needs to be corrected

2. Saw blade saw tooth defect

3. The installation of the saw blade is incorrect

4. When the saw blade is used for too long, the precision of the cutter head decreases

5. The position of the saw blade can be interchanged with the unilateral burr

(3) Abnormal feed

1. Alloy saw blade slips

2. The spindle is stuck by a foreign body

3. There is a foreign body blocking the discharge port

(4) The phenomenon of clamping saw

1. The material of the saw blade is not suitable for the material to be processed

2. The design of the alloy saw blade is unreasonable, and the chips cannot be removed in time

3. Excessive use, the temperature of the saw blade is too high

4. Saw blade deflection or machine spindle runout or incorrect installation

(5) The cutter head wears too fast

Reasons: The angle of the cutting edge is unreasonable, the cutter head bond is too soft (for the material to be cut); the cutter head itself has poor wear resistance, and the saw blade is not perpendicular to the material to be cut.

Solution: replace the appropriate alloy saw blade; check the spindle flange to ensure the verticality of the saw blade and the equipment; check the rotational speed of the saw blade during operation.

(6) The alloy saw blade becomes dull and cannot be cut

Reason: the saw blade is not sharp enough and needs to be ground; the linear speed of the saw blade is too high; the lack of power cannot make the saw blade cut normally,

The saw blade is not being applied with enough cutting pressure.

Solution: Grind the saw blade in a timely and reasonable manner; select the saw blade with the corresponding diameter according to the equipment manual;

Check drive belts, voltage and motor; make sure adequate but not excessive cut-in pressure is used.
